Banners of sunlight ch1Banners of Sunlight Chapter 1 The Centennial Bridge spanned the dark cut of water below. The dark cut of water that represents the whoring of this country to the capitalists. This canal represents everything that the people of this country have sacrificed in the name of commerce. It literally and figuratively divides the country in half. Only two roadways connect East and West Panama. The Centennial Bridge is one, and the Bridge of the Americas, south of here, is the other. The flow of traffic was subdued at this hour.
